A damaged cupboard latch is a small part with noticeable consequences: the door or flap may no longer close reliably and can open while travelling. This type of push-lock latch is used in various furniture fittings in Adria motorhomes and campervans. It is a replacement for an existing mechanism damaged by prolonged use, material fatigue or excessive load. For example, forcing the door of an overfilled cupboard shut places high forces on the latch's moving retaining arms, which can eventually break.
The set consists of the latch housing and its matching ball-stud striker. As the door closes, the ball stud engages in the latch to hold the furniture front shut. Pressing the door or flap again operates the push-to-open function and releases the latch.
SIMPLE REPLACEMENT
Unscrew the damaged latch and replace it with the new part. Where the shape, dimensions and hole spacing match, the existing fixing points can usually be reused. Compare the product photos, dimensions and available installation space carefully before ordering.
BLACK VERSION
Adria often fitted this latch type in brown. The version offered here is black. The colour does not affect its function and is normally unobtrusive because the latch is concealed inside the cupboard. A white version may be available on request, subject to availability.
BENEFITS AT A GLANCE
- Replacement for the matching Adria installation shown in the photos
- For cupboard doors, flaps and similar furniture fronts
- Push-to-open operation
- Complete latch and striker set
- Holds the furniture front closed
- Discreet black finish
- Existing fixing points may be reusable
- Fixing screws included
- For interior furniture in campervans and motorhomes
COMPATIBILITY
Suitable as a replacement in Adria motorhomes and campervans fitted with the latch type shown in the product photos. Adria uses different latches depending on the vehicle model, year and furniture version. Compatibility with every Adria vehicle cannot be assured. Before ordering, compare:
- Shape of the latch housing
- Position and spacing of the fixing holes
- Shape and dimensions of the ball stud
- Space at the installation point
- Opening and closing mechanism
The 23 × 33 mm hole pattern on the latch housing and the 10 mm ball diameter on the striker are particularly important. If these dimensions and the illustrated design match, the existing latch can usually be replaced directly.
