Camperfixx Extended Interior Sliding Door Handle for Fiat Ducato & Equivalent Vans

The Camperfixx Interior Sliding Door Handle was developed specifically for campervans to make operating the side sliding door easier. The original handle is short and made from relatively flexible plastic. It bends noticeably when opening and provides little leverage, making heavier sliding doors awkward to open, particularly for children. At nearly 18 cm long, the Camperfixx handle provides substantially more leverage. The door can be opened more comfortably, with greater control and less effort. The extra leverage can also make it easier for children to open the sliding door from inside.

DESIGNED FOR CAMPERVANS WITH INTERIOR TRIM

Many extended sliding door handles were originally designed for unconverted panel vans. In a camper conversion, trim is often fitted near the handle, where a long handle may rub or catch when operated. The Camperfixx handle is shaped to provide clearance from the interior trim for comfortable use in converted campervans.

CLEARANCE FROM THE PAINTWORK

Some extended aftermarket handles can hit the door frame when the door is fully opened. Over time, this may damage paintwork that remains visible from outside even with the door shut. The Camperfixx handle is designed to avoid this contact.

PURPOSEFUL CONSTRUCTION

Made from PETG, the handle uses a specially developed internal lightweight structure to balance strength, material use and weight. Rather than being solid throughout, it is designed around the forces generated when opening the door. It is printed flat so the layers align with the direction of load.

LONG-TERM PRACTICAL USE

The handle has been in daily use for over three years. During that use, no material fatigue, cracks or other damage have been observed. PETG is suitable for ongoing use in the vehicle and is UV-resistant.
