The StealthMount was specifically developed for the S3XY Dash in the Tesla Model Y Juniper Standard & Premium. This nearly invisible mounting solution provides a comfortable display position without obstructing the air vents, covering the S3XY LED strip or limiting steering wheel adjustment.

Unlike conventional mounts, the StealthMount uses a mechanical mounting system that engages with the existing dashboard trim. The display remains easily accessible, while the bracket and cable are almost completely hidden. This download includes the original VANKIT STL files so you can print the mount yourself.

NEARLY INVISIBLE INSTALLATION

The StealthMount sits discreetly behind the steering wheel, following the original dashboard contours. From the normal driving position, the bracket is practically invisible, allowing the S3XY Dash to blend seamlessly into Tesla’s minimalist interior.

MECHANICAL CLIP MOUNTING WITH ADDITIONAL ADHESIVE SUPPORT

The specially designed mounting hook engages with the existing dashboard trim profile and supports the weight of the display even without adhesive. A recessed channel underneath the bracket allows additional reinforcement using suitable double-sided automotive adhesive tape.

Important: Mounting strength also depends on the printing material, print orientation and overall print quality. The mechanical mounting hook must be printed carefully to ensure sufficient strength.

UNOBSTRUCTED AIR VENTS AND VISIBLE LED STRIP

The StealthMount keeps the ventilation outlets unobstructed. The S3XY LED strip also remains fully visible, as the display is positioned below the ambient lighting.

COMFORTABLE DISPLAY POSITION AND FULL STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT

The S3XY Dash is positioned at a comfortable viewing distance while keeping the touchscreen within easy reach. Since the bracket is attached to the dashboard rather than the moving steering column, the steering wheel retains its full height and reach adjustment.

INTEGRATED CABLE ROUTING AND ORIGINAL MAGNETIC MOUNT

The integrated cable guide allows the USB cable to be routed discreetly underneath the dashboard trim. The original S3XY magnetic holder is reused with its existing screws and nuts. Matching removable screw cover caps provide a clean finish and are included as a separate STL file.

COMPATIBILITY

Developed and tested for: Tesla Model Y Juniper Standard and Premium. Other vehicles, including the Tesla Model 3 Highland and previous-generation Model Y, have not been tested. Please compare your vehicle’s dashboard trim with the product photos before printing.

DOWNLOAD CONTENTS

You will receive a ZIP archive containing the STL file for the StealthMount bracket, the STL file for the screw cover cap and a README with printing, installation and licensing information. Print the screw cover cap in the required quantity.

IMPORTANT: This is a digital download only. No printed parts, screws, magnetic holder or adhesive pads are included!

MATERIAL AND PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

We manufacture the StealthMount ourselves on a Bambu Lab H2S using SUNLU PETG Rapid. For home printing, we recommend PETG with good layer adhesion and sufficient heat resistance. PLA is not recommended due to the potentially high temperatures inside a parked vehicle.

Important printing notes: Proper print orientation, strong layer adhesion and an accurately printed mounting hook are essential. Carefully remove all supports, especially around the hook and contact surfaces. Inspect the parts for warping, cracks or other printing defects before installation. Printing parameters may need to be adjusted depending on your printer and filament.

INSTALLATION

After printing, insert the StealthMount into the existing dashboard trim profile and secure it with a suitable double-sided adhesive pad for additional stability. Attach the original S3XY magnetic holder, route the USB cable discreetly underneath the trim and fit the screw cover caps.

Before driving, check the fit, mounting stability, visibility and unrestricted steering wheel movement. Make sure the installation does not interfere with vehicle controls or airbag deployment areas.
